You will only find this native seaside perennial at South Gare and then you’ll have to hunt around for it – not sure where but from the photo it seems to be growing amidst the rocky slag. It’s also at the saltmarshes on the northside of the River Tees estuary; if you go for a walk up there you might see it with the sea asters.
