Quite a rare small shrub (looking a bit like a miniature yellow broom) in our area but you should be able to find it with a bit of searching near the steps behind pub on the beach at Saltburn and over on the Wildlife Trust reserve at Hummersea. Apparently once used to make yellow dyes.
